Let me just say this here; large jars (Peanut Butter, Mayo, etc.) are the worst idea of all time. Since we live in America, everything has to be BIGGER, SUPERSIZE, and so on and so forth. Well this notion that everything needs to be bigger has lead to a bit of a dilemma, and that’s accessing the bottom quarter of whatever is inside each jar. Take for example peanut-butter, everyone loves a good PB&J, but who can honestly say that they enjoy getting their hand stuck in a jar and getting the residue that’s all over the sides of the jar onto their hands? But this is the problem that we’re left with since they have decided to make these jars bigger. Here’s another catch, since they’ve decided to make the jars bigger, why haven’t they made the caps bigger? There is absolutely no possible way to get to the bottom of the jar without getting stuff all over your hands. Sure, the jar may last longer, but its worthless because you can’t even get to the stuff on the bottom, and end up just throwing out the rest of it. Mayo is the all time worst, when that gets all over your hands its easily the most disgusting thing of all time. These companies are trying to be more ‘economical’ but all their being is a pain because they have since added a third step (steps 1-2 consist of making the sandwich) and STEP 3 is now washing your dirty hands. So thank you America for instilling that ‘Bigger is Better’, because it sure as hell is not.
